Killer pike fly for Rügen! 

The big pike in Rügen are smart. They will eyeball your streamer and refuse to take if they suspect something is wrong. Therefore use as less material on the leader as possible. So, no swivel and no snap. In other words tie the titanium to the tippet and to the streamer without using snaps or swivels to be as stealthy as possible. In case you want to change flies you can use a small snap but keep it as small as possible. About the fishing: strip as fast as you can!. The faster you strip, the more 'big' pike you will catch! Final tip: fish on the hang. Lift the fly at the end of the strip and let it hang just under the surface for a few seconds. 'Big' Rügen pike often take at that moment.
