Catfish fly rod
Bluewater SG - LD
SKU: TFO-BWSG-LD
Yes, we have caught catfish on fly on the Airflo Greentooth 9ft #9/10 but that's a fly rod for pike, not catfish! The rod simply hasn't got enough lifting power for a big catfish. So when you hunt for catfish with a fly here is why you should consider buying the TFO Bluewater SG rods:
- Powerful 'singel shot' rod that will cast your streamer 10 to 15 meters in one shot
- Ultra strong butt section to hold on and lift big catfish
Temple Fork Outfitters:
Designed by Jake Jordan specifically for the demands of offshore fly fishing, these rods combine the ability to quickly deliver large flies accurately and to then sustain the significant lifting force necessary to fight and land large 'pelagic' species.
